To limit the scope of our interest to our present preferences is to essentially block our brain from further learning, further investigation. In the past. I had little use for live theatre, seeing them as poor cousins to the modern movie. If I had perversely limiited my intake of knowledge to exclude consideration of plays I might never have heard of Shakespeare. I’m with you on this, Tricia.
